Express Lane Video: Alcohol Inks

Here’s another installment in our Express Lane video series. Today’s video shares two ways of using Adirondack Alcohol Inks by Ranger to create custom background papers.
Alcohol inks are specially formulated to work on slick surfaces such as glass, metal, acrylic and tile.
Today’s card uses glossy white cardstock.
Here are the supplies used to make this card:
American Crafts cardstock: Black
Ranger Alcohol Inks/Metallic Mixatives and Blending Solution
Ranger Alcohol Ink Applicator and Felt Pads
Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink: Charcoal
Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Black Soot
Ranger Non-Stick Craft Sheet
Mark Richards Crystal Stickers
Please email us at scrapbookexpressblog@gmail.com if you have any questions about today’s video or want to share your projects using Alcohol Inks. Happy inking!
UPDATE: We have received word that Tim Holtz is recommending that Alcohol Ink Blending Solution not be used in the Mini Mister spray bottles. Until further notice from Ranger, please avoid using these products together. It’s better to be safe than sorry! You may use alcohol inks in the Mini Mister to add droplets of color to your glossy backgrounds.
